Calligraphy word "Al-Fattah" (Name #19) - "Al-Fattah": Al-Fattah, the Opener, is the one by whose providence whatever is closed is opened, and by whose guidance whatever is unclear is disclosed. Reference in Quran : 35:2: " That which Allah opens unto mankind of mercy none can withhold it and that which He withholds none can release thereafter. He is the AlMighty, the Most Wise . " I took little inspiration from the movement and harmony of Arabic Scripts for writing like khat e diwani, Khat e diwani jeli and Riqa diwani. This cursive style developed during the reign of the early Ottoman Turks (16th century ). It was invented by Housam Roumi. It was labeled the Diwani script because it was used in the Ottoman diwan. If we see overall painting then writing style is contemporary. Writing is composed with Islamic motives which are used in Islamic architecture.They are based on curving and branching vegetal forms.
