"Calligraphy word "" Al- Wali"" (Name #56) - ""Al-Wali"": Al-Wali, the Patron, is lover and protector. He supresses the enemies of religion and supports its friends. Reference in Quran: 45:19 "" Verily, they can avail you nothing against Allah (if He wants to punish you). Verily, the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) are Auliya (protectors, helpers, etc.) to one another, but Allah is the Wali (Helper, Protector, etc.) of the dutiful : righteous . "" I took little inspiration from the movement and harmony of Arabic Scripts for writing like khat e diwani, Khat e diwani jeli and Riqa diwani. This cursive style developed during the reign of the early Ottoman Turks (16th century ). It was invented by Housam Roumi. It was labeled the Diwani script because it was used in the Ottoman diwan. If we see overall painting then writing style is contemporary. Writing is composed with Islamic motives which are used in Islamic architecture.They are based on curving and branching vegetal forms...
