"Calligraphy word, "" Al- Musawwir"" (Name #14) - ""Al-Musawwir"": Al-Musawwir, Fashioner, means God arranges the forms of things in the finest order, and forms them in the finest way. The One who is the fashioner and former of each and every thing in all of creation. The One who has given everything in creation a special inclination or desire. The One who has given everything a special form and a special manner whereby it is distinguished. I took little inspiration from the movement and harmony of Arabic Scripts for writing like khat e diwani, Khat e diwani jeli and Riqa diwani. This cursive style developed during the reign of the early Ottoman Turks (16th century ). It was invented by Housam Roumi. It was labeled the Diwani script because it was used in the Ottoman diwan.
