I made this painting with acrylic paints on canvas. Of course background is treated with thin watery acrylics and i also used some thick paint strokes in Navy Pier wheel. While building is treated with some medium acrylics and acrylic pens for sketchy look. Painting first option with some sharp and dull colour palette is original and other options treated on some digital softwares for more variety. Painting inspired from Navy pier park wheel and Willis Tower. Navy Pier is a 3,300-foot-long (1,010 m) pier on the Chicago shoreline of Lake Michigan. It is located in the Streeterville neighborhood of the Near North Side community area. The pier was built in 1916 at a cost of $4.5 million. It was a part of the Plan of Chicago developed by architect and city planner Daniel Burnham and his associates.
