Artist's Description

Here I painted a local woman from old city who is spinning yarn with old process (this rolling wheel is called chrkha in local language) and then rolling it on a huge number of bobbins. Faisalabad is a hub of textile, known as biggest industrial city of Pakistan. Textile is a greater export of faisalabad. One of the biggest Asias yarn market is here. Before the technological era people spin and weave yarn through some local and handy ways.
