Description
The language of art is both complex and fascinating. Every type of art contains features, such as animals, objects or birds, most of which have multiple symbolic meanings. For example, throughout history, birds both real and imagined, have captivated humans. They are a familiar part of everyday life but their ability to sing and fly sets them apart from all other creatures. Birds feature in every form of art, from early Palaeolithic cave paintings to the modern-day – birds are everywhere and they all have symbolic meaning. The variety of birds in art is endless. From peacocks to doves, from the owl to the legendary phoenix, the symbolism of birds in art is fascinating. In this painting I have painted a bird. Painting medium is acrylic paints.

This is a gorgeous painting. I like it so much I can't decide whether I want to hang it in my dining room or my den. The colors of the painting are true to the website's pic. Kind of a playful painting. The combination of colors (blue/grey and a caramel shade of brown/gold. Absolutely beautiful
